Set in rural Texas the story chronicles an unnamed man with a broken spirit. In the beginning we see him returning to his family. Where he’s been is unknown. Wherever it was – prison, maybe war – the years have not been kind to him. In spite of his family’s warm welcome the man can’t shake an anger that builds in him so he must leave them again. This time to return to the land that was once theirs, a land that had been in the family for generations, a land that has been stolen, plundered, and sewn with seeds of greed. There’s a force at work, a corruption that destroys homes, nature, families, and memories. The Man decides to lay his stakes down and pits himself against it all. He is on a ruinous mission to sate the hatred in his heart with the knife he carries in his hand.

Ekke is a real estate agent who seems to have everything - a good job, family, and money. But he feels that something is still missing. While trying to add some spice to his life, Ekke unintentionally commits a misdemeanour and finds it unexpectedly exciting. In order to feel the excitement again and again, Ekke will reach the state of mind that he won't be able to control any more. He grabs a knife and won't be able to put it down.

In a schoolyard, a fight breaks out between three boys. Although two of them did not start it, they are quickly blamed as the culprits. The reasons behind the conflict and the consequences they face reveal something much deeper than a simple dispute.

But when the scan reveals unexpected complications, she and her husband, Darragh, are forced to confront a ridiculous reality that will test their trust in the health-care system. As Ife deals with confusing cramps, weirdly casual medical staff, and her mother's cryptic warnings, the couple faces a terrifying yet darkly comedic reality about motherhood, health-care, and family secrets. Equal parts surreal and hilarious, this film flips the script on what it means to be a mother-especially when the stakes are higher than you'd expect.
